Beskrivelse av feriehuset
Villa Kois ligger i den sjarmerende landsbyen Tzitzifés i Apokoronas-regionen på Kreta og er en omhyggelig restaurert herregård i stein hvor øyas tradisjonelle arkitektur er ivaretatt. Huset er over to etasjer, og kombinerer historisk elementer som synlige vegger i lokal naturstein og trebjelker i taket, med moderne fasiliteter. Eiendommen ligger på de bølgende åsene i Chania-regionen og byr på et fredelig og autentisk ferieopphold på landsbygda for reisende som ønsker rolige omgivelser, samtidig som de mest kjente kystbyene er lett tilgjengelige.
Utendørsområdet
Uteområdet er utformet for å kunne koble av under solen på Kreta:
- Basseng og terrasse: Det private bassenget har et integrert boblebadshjørne og en grunn del som egner seg for barn (8 x 4 meter, dybde 0,5–1,5 meter). Bassenget kan varmes opp på forespørsel, med minst én ukes varsel på forhånd mot et pristillegg.
- Spiseplass og avkobling: En møblert, overbygd veranda med en innebygd grill og spisebord danner en fin ramme for å kunne innta måltider utendørs. Gjestene kan også benytte seg av solterrassen og de mange andre terrassene, som byr på vidstrakt utsikt over det omkringliggende landskapet og havet i det fjerne.

Restauranter, bakerier og andre lokale fasiliteter ligger mellom 2 og 6 km unna, mens kystbyene Kalives, Almyrida og Georgioupolis ligger 13–17 km fra huset. Chanias historiske sentrum, havn og internasjonale flyplass kan nås innen 25–40 minutter med bil.

Our friend-vacation was amazingly spent at Villa Steve Kois. The place is gorgeous, it was clean and exactly like the photos. The pool was amazing and we swam so much! The hammock is a great addition and we loved lounging. The outdoor dining area is the best for breakfasts together! It’s so private we played music and didn’t feel we were a nuisance to anyone and really felt safe in the area there. The cleaner even came with fresh towels and Greek pies for us as a treat. It was such great service. Parking however is a bit tight and getting into the villa area with car takes a bit of getting used to and some confidence but was fine by day 3! We loved the local taverna, we ended up being there every night as the food was so amazing and the owner and staff are so lovely. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend to all friends, family and strangers!

Nous avons passé un formidable séjour à la villa Steve Kois, la maison est grande et très confortable, avec une vue magnifique sur la vallée. Extrêmement calme ! Les petits villages alentours sont ravissants et proposent de très bonnes tavernes ! La piscine est très agréable, la maison est très bien équipée avec la climatisation dans toutes les pièces ! Nous avons particulièrement aimé d’être éloignées, de l’agitation, du bord de mer, mais pas trop loin, non plus !

We have had a lovely stay at Villa Kois. The house is wonderful, it’s been refurbished to an high quality and has everything you could possibly need, the host was very charming. It is quite remote and you definitely need a car, but we enjoyed the peace this offered.

We stayed in Villa Kois in June 2026 for 2 weeks to celebrate a special birthday, so wanted something a little bit better than the average villa – we were not disappointed ! The villa was lovely, just as advertised. Plenty of space, great facilities, a lovely pool and the quiet village location we had wanted. The host (Vaso) and her family were lovely and treated us to some traditional Greek home-made food on 3 occasions – we were blown away by the hospitality. We had a minor issue with the aircon on one day, which was very promptly fixed – always a good measure of how a host treats and values their guests. We used the Villa as a base for a number of trips to Chania, Rethymno, Heraklion, the Kourtaliotiko Gorge and Imbross Gorge. Good beaches are also just a short drive away. All in all we had a wonderful time in a wonderful Villa – highly recommended.

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Airbnb auf Kreta war einfach unglaublich schön. Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an sehr wohlgefühlt und hatten direkt das Gefühl, zu Hause zu sein. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und insgesamt in einem perfekten Zustand. Alles war ordentlich und mit viel Sorgfalt vorbereitet, sodass man sich sofort entspannen konnte. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Gastgeber. Wir reisen als Gruppe schon seit einiger Zeit gemeinsam und haben bereits viele Airbnbs gebucht, aber so herzlich wurden wir noch nie empfangen. Sowohl die Gastgeber selbst als auch ihre Eltern waren außergewöhnlich freundlich und offen. Zur Begrüßung gab es sogar kleine Leckereien, was uns wirklich positiv überrascht hat. Die gesamte Atmosphäre war sehr familiär und warm. Es hat sich angefühlt, als würden wir uns schon lange kennen, obwohl wir uns vorher nie begegnet sind. Genau das hat diesen Aufenthalt so besonders gemacht. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Danke!

This was a beautiful and spacious well maintained villa. It was very well equipped and extremely clean. The hosts were extremely kind, very helpful and very generous.

Boendet var precis lika fint som på bilderna och området var mysigt och charmigt. Alla lokala människor vi mötte var otroligt trevliga och välkomnande. Det finns en fantastisk restaurang cirka 700 meter bort som vi verkligen kan rekommendera. Det är dock väldigt viktigt att ha bil, eftersom det varken finns Uber eller liknande tjänster. Vill man åka taxi behöver man fråga sig fram och boka via lokala kontakter. Vår värd hjälpte oss med detta när vi landade, då vi inte hade bil första dagen – något vi är väldigt tacksamma för. Utöver det var vi supernöjda med vistelsen! Vår värd kom till och med förbi med hemlagad traditionell mat, vilket var en otroligt fin och personlig gest. Rekommenderas varmt!

Our family had the most amazing 4 weeks at this wonderful villa. We were welcomed so warmly by the hosts and treated to such wonderful homemade treats. The villa had everything we needed with a beautiful outside area to cook. The villa was so very clean.
We particularly enjoyed the beach bar at The Salty Goat.
We would thoroughly recommend this beautiful villa with its magnificent views and hopefully will return again. Thank you all so much for a wonderful stay.

First of all, the mansion was amazing, like in the pictures! Enough space, everything worked well, nice showers, nice rooms, nice outside space, very quite with a lot of privacy, we loved that! Everything was very clean with a lot of nice places to relax, Pool was awesome! On our stay in the beginning of octobre the restaurants in walking distance were opened at Sat. and Sun. Other restaurants and markets are at least 5mins by car. We got contacted by the owner a couple of hours before check in over whatsap. Google maps doesn't show the correct home. We met the owner in another place and went together to the house. the road downstairs where to park is steep, no problem at all unless the road is not wet. Owner very lovely, friendly and explained everything well. To one of the most famous beach balos it's a 1.5h drive but it was absolutely worth, what a nice place:-)

We had such a lovely stay at the villa, the swimming pool and dining area outside was great. It was perfect for toddlers - the pool was raised off the ground and had a separate fenced toddler pool, that our son loved. The village is very quiet and the nearest shop is a 10 minute drive away. The village next it Fres, has three lovely restaurants. They’re great local tavernas, that we loved going to. Such a great trip!

The villa is a beautiful old house with stunning views. It has been carefully restored to retain its character and charm, whilst offering modern comforts and a lot of space and light. The host (we met several members of their family over the week) were super responsive, friendly and helpful, thank you. The covered areas and the pool offered much needed respite from the august heat, and the rooms inside were immaculate - beautiful linen and towels, excellent showers and a well equipped kitchen. The villa is off the beaten track so a car is essential, although there are tavernas within walking distance. Highly recommend.

The Villa :
Really is how you see it in the pictures. Very true to life. From furnishing to fittings, everything is new modern. The Villa is kitted out with everything you would need from home to home. Master bedroom with en suite and 2 other bedrooms both with single twin beds sharing another bathroom. Downstairs is the final bedroom with a double bed and separate shower and toilet. The villa was spotless on arrival. The cleaner came once during our visit and gave it a really deep clean, not that we made such a mess but she was on point.
The Sunset:
Views from the pool morning and night were breathtaking. High mountains, deep pink sky, on sun setting and rising. I thought the pictures had been filtered and tampered to sell the villa but no, I have never seen such a beautiful scene.
The Pool: Lovely and well maintained clean pool, it was cleaned twice over the 10 days we were there. Everyone who supported the villa’s maintenance was very friendly.
The Host: I have never met such a wonderful and kind human. Our host was the daughter of the villas owner. So kind and giving, she met our every need, message and phone call. Above and beyond. From information to needs, locations restaurants shops dietary requirements on arrival. God bless you with abundance. I actually made a friend and will keep in touch with her and join her for a coffee when I go back for sure.
We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the villa, it is based in a village and the locals are really friendly. Shops are a 10 min drive and you will find everything you need, local shops are clean and well presented. Chaina is a 40 min drive away.
